John C. Davis is an assistant professor of political science. He earned his B.A. and M.A. in political science from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and his Ph.D. from the University of Missouri in Columbia. His research interests include political parties, southern politics, state politics and policy, and rural politics. An 8th generation Arkansan, John lives with his wife, Ember, and son, John Lee, in Monticello, Arkansas.
